Dr. Mathes joined Rocky Mount Urology Associates in 1983. He has extensive experience in all aspects of urologic care with special interests in urinary stone disease, urologic oncology, laparoscopy, and infertility. Dr. Mathes is also a robot-trained surgeon who uses the daVinci surgical robot system to treat prostate cancer and other urologic diseases. He has served in multiple roles at Nash General Hospital, including Medical Staff President, Chairman of the Quality Improvement Committee, and Chairman of the Investigational Review Board. He was born in Memphis, TN and has lived in Rocky Mount with his wife, Linda, since 1983. He has 2 daughters, Barbara and Susan and a stepson, Michael. His outside interests include boating, sailing, and travel.

He is currently the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Nash General Hospital and a past-president of the Nash County Medical Society. Dr. Frohbose was born and raised in Rocky Mount, is a 1972 graduate of the Rocky Mount Academy, and resides in town with his wife, Kelly. He has 2 daughters, Alice and Katie and a son, Frederick. His outside interests include boating, hunting, fishing, and playing live music.

Prior to joining Rocky Mount Urology Associates, Dr. Lisson served in the US Navy Medical Corps with tours at Naval Hospital Guam, Marianas Islands and Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC. Dr. Lisson was born in Rochester, NY and has lived in Rocky Mount with his wife, Gail, since 2008. He has a daughter, Paige and a son, Jonas. His outside interests include fishing, SCUBA diving, personal fitness, and playing the drums.
